TERMS OF USE OF IBKALYANAM

IBKalyanam is a digital matrimony initiative by the IDAM Braahmam Society. It operates through two interlinked platforms: ibkalyanam.in, which is exclusively for registering brides and grooms, and services.ibkalyanam.in, designed for wedding-related service providers such as astrologers, purohits, decorators, caterers, photographers, and others. While both portals operate independently, they are interlinked to enable easy coordination between members and service providers. Jointly, these two interlinked platforms are referred to as “the Platform” herein after.
This document is an electronic record. Completion of registration on the Platform, either by a prospective member or service provider, shall constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions. Website visitors who post reviews or interact with services are also deemed to have accepted these terms. If you do not agree, you are advised not to use the Platform or submit any information.
Please read and understand all the following terms and conditions before submitting your details to the Platform.
IBKalyanam is a welfare initiative of the IDAM Braahmam Society, registered under the Societies Act. The IDAM Braahmam Society is the Owner and Operator of the Platform. The Platform has been developed and is maintained by M/s Jagadishwar Technology Solutions Private Limited. Hereinafter, IDAM Braahmam Society and M/s Jagadishwar Technology Solutions Private Limited shall be collectively and/or individually referred to as “the Organizers.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Eligibility to Register on the Platform:
Any Brahmin, irrespective of language or nationality, is eligible to register the details of their children or themselves for seeking an alliance with a bride or bridegroom. Registration can be done either by the prospective bride or bridegroom themselves, or by their father, mother, brother, sister, relative, or friend. The objective is to help find a suitable match through the Platform.
Service providers such as astrologers, purohits, wedding hall owners, caterers, event managers, decorators, musicians (melam), photographers, videographers, and security personnel are also eligible to register.
2. Declaration of Accuracy:
The member registering the details is deemed to have declared that the information provided is true and correct to the best of his/her knowledge. The Organizers are not responsible for the accuracy or authenticity of the information furnished by the registering members or service providers on the Platform.
3. Verification of Information:
Members who proceed with engagement or marriage with any other registered member on the Platform are solely responsible for verifying the authenticity of the information provided by the other party. Each registered member is expected to conduct their own inquiries. The Organizers are not responsible for any false or misleading information furnished by members or service providers.
4. Prohibited Claims and Demands:
Registered members are strictly prohibited from making any illegal claims or counterclaims, including demands for dowry or any movable or immovable property, as such practices are banned under Indian law. Likewise, service providers must limit their charges to fair, legal, and reasonable fees, and shall not demand any unlawful payments.
5. Identity and License Verification:
Registering members are required to provide their Aadhaar number or any other valid ID proof to the other member with whom they are finalizing an alliance or service, to establish their bona fides. Service providers must upload their valid licenses and authorization certificates, if applicable. Members and service providers must verify these documents independently. The Organizers are not responsible for failure to verify or dissatisfaction with provided details. Members who become aware of any false or misleading information are requested to report the same to customer support immediately.
6. Right to Accept or Reject Membership:
The Organizers reserve the right to accept, continue, or terminate any membership without prior notice upon receiving negative feedback against the registered member or service provider.
7. Registration Fee and Refund Policy:
Once the prescribed registration fee is paid by the registering member or service provider, it shall be non-refundable under any circumstances.
8. Marital Status Requirements:
Married individuals are not permitted to register unless they have obtained a valid Divorce Decree from a competent Court of Law. Private separations are not accepted.
9. Validity and Renewal of Membership:
The registration and renewal fee is valid for one year. To continue their membership, members must renew before the one-year period lapses. The fee is fixed at Rs. 1,000/- and may be revised periodically.
10. Compliance with Laws:
Registration must comply with all applicable laws of India, which shall have overriding effect over the Platform’s terms and conditions. Registration of bridegrooms below the age of 21 years and brides below the age of 18 years is strictly prohibited. Individuals submitting reviews must be adults above the age of 18 and are expected to provide responsible, respectful, and relevant feedback consistent with the nature and objectives of the Platform.
11. Confidentiality and Privacy:
The details and photos of registered bride and groom members on ibkalyanam.in are to be kept confidential and are intended solely for alliance-related purposes. Sharing this information with unauthorized third parties is strictly prohibited and may attract legal action.
Service provider listings on services.ibkalyanam.in are publicly accessible and do not carry any confidentiality obligation.
12. Profile Deactivation Post Marriage:
Members must inform customer care upon engagement or marriage, or use the self-deletion option available on the Platform to remove their profiles. If any member notices a profile that should have been deleted but remains active, they are requested to notify customer care immediately.
13. Profile Updates:
Members may edit and update their profiles as needed.
14. Customer Support:
Members may contact customer care at +91 95024 74394 or via email at support@ibkalyanam.in for assistance with registration or any aspect of using the Platform.
15. Jurisdiction:
Any disputes or queries shall be resolved under the territorial jurisdiction of Hyderabad.
16. Arbitration:
Disputes shall be settled through a sole Arbitrator in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
17. Liability Disclaimer:
The Organizers shall not be held liable for any losses or damages incurred due to false or incorrect information provided on the Platform in violation of its terms.
18. Verification of Service Providers and Reviews:
Members must independently verify any services they engage. The Organizers do not endorse or guarantee any services listed on the Platform. Reviews and ratings may be submitted freely; however, disputes between service providers and members or reviewers are beyond the scope of this agreement, and the Organizers bear no responsibility for mediating such matters.
The Platform promotes honest and respectful feedback. Abusive, defamatory, or misleading reviews will be removed, and offending users may face restrictions. Service providers may report inappropriate content for moderation.
19. Service Provider Listing and Revenue Disclaimer:
The Organizers shall not guarantee or provide any leads, revenue, or profits to service providers registering on the Platform. The Platform is open to the public, and the Organizers shall not prioritize one service provider over another. Listings will be displayed in alphabetical order. Any member or website visitor may submit reviews on service providers which may impact decision making process of members or visitors.
20. Payment Modes:
Registration fees must be paid via digital methods only—web apps, QR code, or online transfer.
21. No Hidden Services:
There is no additional matchmaking assistance, mediation, or hidden services beyond the registration.
22. Misuse of Contact Information:
Mobile numbers and email IDs shall only be used for alliance-related discussions and service-related matters. Misuse may result in prosecution.
23. Data Retention:
Member and service provider data will be retained on the Platform for the duration of the valid paid membership period. Data will be permanently deleted from the Platform in the following situations: upon expiry of membership without renewal, deletion of the account by the member, or deletion of the account by the Organizers at their own discretion or upon request by the member. The Organizers are under no obligation to restore any account or profile once it has been deleted from the Platform.
24. Consent to Contact
By submitting your details on the Platform, you hereby authorize the Organizers, Members, Service Providers, and visitors to contact you for purposes related to alliance facilitation and service coordination. You also consent to receiving communications about promotional activities and updates related to the Platform.
25. Prohibited Use of the Platform: Users shall not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update or share any information that—
Any Member or Service Provider or user who observes any of the prohibited uses within the Platform is encouraged to report such posts at customer service immediately.
26. User Account Security
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, including passwords and login information. The Organizers shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of a user’s account. Users agree to immediately notify customer support of any unauthorized use or security breach.
27. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, trademarks, logos, software, and materials displayed on the Platform are the exclusive property of the Organizers or their licensors. Users are prohibited from copying, reproducing, distributing, or creating derivative works from such content without prior written permission from the Organizers.
28. Termination of Membership
The Organizers reserve the right to suspend or terminate any membership or access to the Platform at any time without prior notice, especially in cases of violation of these terms, misuse of the Platform, or conduct that adversely affects other users or the Platform’s reputation. Users whose accounts are suspended or terminated shall not create another account using different credentials with the intent to mislead the Organizers or others. Such violators will be subject to legal action and prosecution.
29. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and all services offered are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The Organizers do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information on the Platform.
30. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall the Organizers be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
31. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organizers and their affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to the user’s breach of these Terms, violation of any law, or infringement of any third-party rights.
32. Privacy and Data Protection
The Organizers are committed to protecting users’ personal data and complying with applicable data protection laws. By using the Platform, users consent to the collection, storage, and processing of their personal information as detailed in the Platform’s Privacy Policy. Users are advised to review the Privacy Policy carefully.
33.Dispute Resolution
Any discrepancies or grievances with relation to the Services provided on the Platform or breach of this Agreement (including Member’s misrepresentation) shall be taken up by Grievance Committee. You can report by sending an email or physical mail to the following address:

34. OTHER TERMS
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified or limited to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. This Agreement supersedes any prior agreements, understandings, or representations between the parties.
A delay or failure by the Organizers to enforce any provision of this Agreement or to act upon a breach shall not be deemed a waiver of their rights to enforce the same at a later time.
Users may not assign or transfer this Agreement, their membership, or any rights or obligations related to the use of the Platform without the prior written consent of the Organizers. However, Users acknowledge and agree that the Organizers may assign this Agreement to their affiliates or any entity that acquires the Platform, without requiring user consent.
There are no third-party beneficiaries to this Agreement.
35. Changes to Terms and Conditions
The Organizers reserve the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Significant changes will be communicated via the Platform or email. Continued use of the Platform after such changes shall constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.
Further The Organizers reserve the right to change, suspend, modify, or discontinue any of the services offered on the Platform at any time, with or without prior notice, without any liability to users or members.
This document reflects the complete Terms and Conditions governing the use of the Platform. By registering or interacting with the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms.
PRIVACY POLICY OF IBKALYANAM

IBKalyanam is a digital matrimony initiative established by the IDAM Braahmam Society, a charitable organization registered under the Societies Registration Act. The Platform comprises two interlinked portals:
ibkalyanam.in – Exclusively for the registration of brides and grooms; and
services.ibkalyanam.in – Exclusively for the listing of wedding-related service providers, including astrologers, purohits, decorators, caterers, photographers, and others.
Both portals are collectively referred to as “the Platform.” These platforms, though functionally distinct, are interlinked to facilitate coordinated matrimonial services for the Brahmin community across India and abroad.
This Privacy Policy shall govern the use of all personal and sensitive information collected and processed by the Platform. By registering, accessing, or interacting with the Platform, all users—whether as prospective brides/grooms, family representatives, service providers, or reviewers—acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth herein.
The IDAM Braahmam Society is the Owner and Operator of the Platform. The Platform is developed and maintained by M/s Jagadishwar Technology Solutions Private Limited. Together, the IDAM Braahmam Society and Jagadishwar Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. shall hereinafter be referred to as “the Organizers.”
1. Collection and Declaration of Member Information
1.1. All members registering on the Platform are required to furnish true, accurate, complete, and up-to-date information at the time of registration. The Organizers reserve the right to verify the authenticity of the data provided. Any misrepresentation may result in suspension or termination of access to the Platform. 1.2. If the registrant is not the prospective bride or groom themselves, their relationship to the applicant must be clearly declared during registration.
1.3. Members have the option to upload photographs. All uploaded photographs shall be recent and should not misrepresent the registrant’s current appearance.
2. Use and Responsibilities of Registered Members
2.1. Registered members shall not misuse, reproduce, or share the personal data, photographs, or contact details of other members listed on the Platform.
2.2. Members agree to maintain strict confidentiality of all information accessed through their login credentials and shall not disclose such information to unauthorized third parties.
2.3. No member shall use the Platform for purposes other than matrimonial matchmaking within the Brahmin community. All other uses shall constitute a violation of this Policy.
3. Data Privacy Commitments by the Organizers
3.1. The Organizers undertake to safeguard and protect all information submitted by members on the Platform, including their username, passwords, photographs, identity documents, and contact details.
3.2. No data or member information shall be shared with any third-party websites, applications, or businesses, including other matrimonial platforms, except in the following circumstances:
As expressly permitted by this Policy;
As required for the purpose of member matching and interaction within the Platform;
As necessary to comply with directions from governmental, judicial, or law enforcement authorities under applicable laws;
As may be required to be disclosed to the Platform’s authorized software vendors, developers, or technical support teams strictly for the purpose of system maintenance, debugging, or troubleshooting technical issues, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
3.3 Service provider listings on services.ibkalyanam.in are publicly accessible and do not carry any confidentiality obligation.
3.4. The Organizers reserve the right to monitor platform activity and usage patterns for security and fraud prevention. This includes collection of:
Device identifiers,
IP addresses,
Session history,
Geolocation data,
Cookies and similar technologies.
3.5. The Organizers may disclose user information to government authorities or law enforcement agencies, including but not limited to departments responsible for cybercrime, fraud prevention, or lawful interception, in accordance with applicable Indian laws including the Right to Information Act.
4. Duration of Data Retention
4.1. Member and service provider data will be retained on the Platform for the duration of the valid paid membership period. 6. Updates and Modifications to the Privacy Policy
6.1. The Organizers may, from time to time, update or revise this Privacy Policy in response to legal, technical, or business developments. Updated policies will be published on the Platform and shall take immediate effect unless stated otherwise.
6.2. Continued use of the Platform following any modification to this Privacy Policy shall constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
7. Grievance Redressal Mechanism
7.1. The Grievance Officer under this Privacy Policy shall be the Manager of the IDAM Braahmam Society, available at the following address during working hours (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays):

8. Jurisdiction
8.1. This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
